StoneGuard is designed to help users organize low-oxalate food choices, hydration habits, 30-day plan progress, and personal notes. We aim to collect only the information needed to operate, improve, and support the app.

No sale of personal information We do not sell your personal information.

Apple handles purchases Subscriptions and refunds are processed by Apple through the App Store.

Health-related entries are sensitive Food logs, hydration entries, symptoms, and notes may relate to your health and should be treated carefully.

Support is optional If you email us, we receive the information you choose to include in that message.

Information We Collect

Information you enter in the app

Depending on how you use StoneGuard, you may enter food searches, selected foods, safer swaps, hydration logs, reminder preferences, plan progress, symptoms, notes, and 30-day summary information.

Support communications

If you contact us by email, we may receive your email address, message content, screenshots, device details, app version, and any other information you choose to provide.

Subscription information

Apple processes App Store purchases and subscriptions. We may receive limited subscription status information needed to unlock paid features, such as whether a subscription is active, expired, or in a trial period. We do not receive your full payment card information.

Device and diagnostics information

We may receive basic technical information needed to maintain app reliability, such as app version, device type, iOS version, crash reports, performance diagnostics, and feature usage events.

How We Use Information

To provide app features, including food lookup, low-oxalate plan generation, hydration tracking, reminders, progress summaries, and notes.
To restore or verify subscription access.
To respond to support requests and troubleshoot issues.
To improve app reliability, usability, and food guidance quality.

How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited information with service providers that help us operate the app, provide customer support, process subscriptions through Apple, analyze crashes, or maintain security.

Subscriptions and App Store Purchases

StoneGuard subscriptions are purchased through Apple. Apple may collect and process payment, tax, refund, and subscription information according to Apple's own terms and privacy policy. You can manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.

Data Retention

We keep information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the app, support users, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. Support emails may be retained for a reasonable period so we can respond to follow-up questions and improve support quality.

Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

StoneGuard is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, please contact us so we can take appropriate steps.

Your Choices

You can choose what information to enter into food logs, hydration logs, symptoms, and notes.
You can change notification permissions in iOS Settings.
You can manage subscriptions in your Apple ID subscription settings.
You can contact us to request access, correction, or deletion of support-related personal information, subject to legal and technical limitations.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the effective date and provide notice as required by applicable law.
